Design with passion, empathy, and curiosity

Hi, I'm Lynn 👋 Born & raised in Vancouver, Canada. I have 10 years of professional experience in User Experience (UX) and User Interface Design (UI) with a passion to modernize digital services through leadership and advocation for innovation. I've led design for major rebuilds for outdated systems with a focus to bring UX/UI practices into organizations, while reenvisioning business workflows to improve efficencies.

With a background in coding, I work closely with developers – bridging gaps from design to development. My design philosophy is to advocate for users by sharing their stories using research and data to inform decisions, including co-designing and collaborating with experts in their field.

My design background started at the age of 8, where I learned graphic design and coding as an after school hobby. Curiousity and endless hours on our family computer allowed me to transition seamlessly into the User Experience field, where I graduated at Capilano University with industry skillsets: Information Architecture, User Research, Visual Design, Full stack development, CMS, Quality Assurance (QA), Database, and Business relations.

On my off days, I can be found listening to lots of music, camping, travelling, or growing my green thumb (proud plant mum here).
